Last Friday, I went to Pitt River museum with my class in Oxford. I saw a lot of exhibitions and collaborations, but I have no interest for most of artwork because they didn’t make my eyes brightened. Fortunately, street art aroused my interest. Although it just displayed a few works about street graffiti, I have desire to explore more about street art.
The theme in each country represents different ideas to the world. It stands for people’s attitude for life or the inner part of people’s thoughts. For example, for Eastern gallery in German, the artwork are almost about the politics, war, and humanity. However, in Italy, here are a lot of street graffitis make people feel that Italians love life with slow-paced life with enjoyment.
As we can see, street art is very popular in the world, and people who from different countries use this way to express the art. Davis (2015) stated that “art will never be confined to form”. In my point of view, I think it means that art comes from life, people can get a lot of inspiration from the life, they want to share their ideas with others according to their background and experience. With the development of the world, people’s thoughts are getting more and more advance. Based on ‘art is from the life’, people are more bold to put their ideas in people’s lives with graffiti art, it will appear in the public location, bulletin boards, or even in community
